Are you being bullied?

'SPEAK UP!' is an anti-bullying project run by YouthLine and is funded by Bracknell Forest Community Safety Partnership.

If you are being bullied YouthLine wants to make it easier for you to get in touch with us, so we have set up a number just for you to text to 07963 779 003.

We will text you back with answers to your questions and an appointment date if you decide you want to come to the centre.

It may also be possible for you to speak to a Counsellor at your school if YouthLine has one based there.

Bullying can happen at home as well as at school and someone can bully you in lots of different ways such as by:

Calling you names.
Threatening to hurt you.
Sending hurtful text messages to your phone.
Taking your things and throwing them about.
Hitting you.
Not allowing you to join in with games and ignoring you.
Forcing you to hand over money.

What to do if you are being bullied:

Try to stay calm and look as confident as you can.
Be firm and clear - look them in the eye and tell them to stop.
Get away from the situation as quickly as possible.
Tell an adult what has happened straight away.
